Long time since I've played football. Do you still have to pump up the bladder and tie the laces?

A tie-dyed football? Taking retro a little too far, I think.

Fuck me that's very camp, suits the players and their screams.
Greatest ball ever was the early 80s league cup ball. Pwoper round and a wonky red stripe by going around it.

The ball is hideous.

No doubt my son will want one as one of his birthday presents.

I knew there would be a 'good' reason for it.

Ron - It 's so you can see the ball in the SNOW that never falls on the under soil heated pitches and that we never play in anyway because of "spectator safety " issues.

Or......it's to do with advertising and making money. As per usual.

Why is it, exactly, that they switch to a yellow ball when the clocks change in the winter?

Re: New ball for 16/17 Season
Only a matter of time before balls have built-in flashing lights.

Then they'll start on the goalposts, the pitch markings, and they'll bring back plastic grass.

But this time it'll be compulsory, and it won't be green.

Modern football is still just about ok.

Future football will be shit.

When the bloody hell will people realise that the only ball that should have ever been used since it started is the Adidas Tango. Why bother designing and using anything else when you can have the Tango??

It will be interesting to see how that electrical tape affects the flight of the ball.
